Info on directing and what not

Hey guys over the summer i'm taking a directing class for fun (need a couple extra credits ) Anyways i'm going to have to make a short movie , i'm going to watn an a in this to knock my gpa up a few points . Anyone have good info on this ?>

Haha the first one will be hard to do , it doesn't have to be great with acting just needs to be on the film side . Figured we'd have some people into that here and could post links
