View Full Version : Using colourless' D3dbench tool

Hello,

I'm trying to use colourless' D3dbench tool on a game and it doesn't seem to work when a particular shader is applied. It does work, however, if the flag:


#define DONT_INTERCEPT_VERTEX_BUFFERS

is turned off. Colourless, the author of D3dbench, also has a comment in there saying that vertex buffers need to be fixed (he has a FIXME in there). I am wondering if anyone here knows what needs to be fixed so I can write the fix myself and get it to work. According to me, it should work just fine.

I've tried messaging Colourless, but I guess I have the wrong email address. Colourless, if you are reading this, please send me a message or reply to my ICQ or email message. If anyone else knows his code for D3dbench, please contact me.

I hope this is the correct forum to post this message on (I was looking for a DirectX software specific forum here but couldn't find it).

There is a reason why I no longer link it in my sig. Other than my source code being available, PIX is better in almost every other way. Anyway I answered your questions in PM.
