It used to work on a forwarding service from the people I bought the domain off, however I've been trying to get it transferred correctly to this site. If it doesn't work properly in the next few days then I'll be talking to the hosts to resolve it!

I can't even get a SOA (source of authority) on beyond3d.net.

This means the domain is VOID, you should probably look into it.

Is there a easier way to resolve to this site? For now , I'm lucky to be here (because I bookmarked the http://browse.to/beyond3d URL)

Ben, you can use this:

http://216.12.218.25/domain/www.beyond3d.com/

Thats the full domain name were using at the moment, and that one acts as the 'natural' domain as it were. Unfortunatly that may change if/when we move servers.

As for the beyond3d.net the whois information say's it now pointing to our host's nameservers, but its not working for some reason. I'm trying to get in contact with the relavent people (tyring being the operative word).

It's odd indeed.

If I ask my default nameserver for a SOA on beyond3d.net I get a can't find beyond3d.net: Server failed

If I then ask a .net root nameserver I get:

beyond3d.net nameserver = NS1.DIGITALUS.NL
beyond3d.net nameserver = NS2.DIGITALUS.NL

If you ask THAT (NS1) server for the SOA record you get primary ns to be ns3.plushosting.nl, which is the same machine (IP), but a different name.

The zone doesn't seem to have an A-record defined though.

......

Ok, now ns1 and ns2. digitalus.nl can't even find the beyond3d.net zone

You might want to mail the hostmaster, root@ns3.plushosting.nl , at digitalus (email taken from from the digitalus.nl SOA) to find out what the fsck is going on.

Cheers

Well, along with www.beyond3d.com, www.beyond3d.net now appears to be working as a re-direct to .com .
