Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone here can help me out with multimonitor support on the 9500pro (GREAT Card btw :) )

I have a CRT and a LCD monitor (both 17 inch) and I would like to use the LCD mainly for coding/web browsing, but the CRT for gaming. Does anyone know the best way to do this? or is it even possible?

I have used the monitors by extending the desktop to both monitors, but can only get games on the primary display - which also messes up the secondary display till I exit the games. I have tried hydravision from ATI, but it does not seem to do what I want it to :(

any ideas?

Also does anyone know how to get the smoothing of DVD etc? I got a connect 3d card which does not seem to have a DVD player :(

TIA.

You can use Rage3D Tweak (http://www.rage3d.com/r3dtweak) to disable your 2nd monitor only while running games (and reenable it when exiting the game) automatically.

I believe that any of the DirectX VA aware software DVD players will be able to use the hardware assistd decode and deinterlacing (which is what I guess you mean by "smoothing DVD").

Try PowerDVD or WinDVD or something like that.[/quote]
