Otherwise it seems the R9600 is earlier on the market then the GFFX Ultra. I have seen the first advertisement for an PC with an R9600TX card inside. This computer can be buyed at the 26.3.03 in Germany ( Medion-PC from Aldi ).

The FX Ultra will apparently never get to retail.

It has, however, already shipped to many pre-order customers (if not all).

*cough* the GeforceFX 5800 "Ultra" is a canceled product. So all we have to compare really to the Radeon 9800 pro is the Geforce FX 5600 "Ultra" which doesn't hold a candle to the Radeon 9800 pro. AFAIK you can't buy a Geforce FX 5600 "Ultra" yet. :roll:

Today I went to our local Saturn market (part of Metro group). They had two Terratec Mystify 5800 Ultra in stock for 609.-€ each. They got a lovely picture of the FlowFX on the back.

bmg, I just did a search on newegg and none of the GF-FX 5800 Ultra cards are listed as in stock. Which ones were you looking at?

Check PNY. Still shows in stock. BTW, I got one to play with and had to send it back due to major display corruption (even during bootup).
