Just got an 9500np & with any level of AA enabled the top half of the screen goes blank (pinky/white) when entering caves & buildings. This didn't occur on my 8500 & really spoils the atmosphere.
I've tried Vsync off/on as I first thought that that was the problem.
Is it a faulty card????? :(
Are you running with DX9 and the latest Catalyst 3.2 drivers?

Yep! Installed the 3.2s a couple of hours ago; now the whole screen goes pinky white. :?
Changed the drivers from control panel, deleted the ATi reg entry & removed primary & secondary displays from device manager. Used the inf to put the 3.2 on & the .exe for control panel.
Tried disabling various Z optimisations thru the registry but no difference.
Sent Connect 3D support an e-mail as I understand from a thread in another forum that this is not a "usual" problem.

128mb. I was playing 1600*1200 but the AA makes it laggy so I'm at 1152*864 now, x4 AA x8 quality AF, max everything but no shadows. Don't play at 1280*960 as I get banding the same as on my 8500 at that resolution.
It flashes red when I exit the mages guild in Caldera btw. :?
Noticed it only does it on the first exit or entry. Tried going in & out of a few doors in Seyda Neen to find that out.
The worst is when entering caves at night & the bloody screen flashes white. I wouldn't be complaining if the screen just went black when it loaded interiors/exteriors.

I thought I'd post again in case anybody is interested:
Following advice received from a member on the 3dvelocity.com forums I've just run Morrowind with the softmod in place & there is no flashing when entering buildings/caves. Sadly, there is checkerboarding.
I think the card will be going back.

Dammit, dabs.com won't let me RMA it! They keep saying it is a driver problem. :(
