Avivo deinterlacing usable from DirectShow?

I hope this is the right forum for my question. I have a camera connected to a x1600 vivo. I need to mix the capture preview with a video clip in real time and display the mixed video. The ATI T200 analog crossbar gives me progressives frames (720x576 PAL), but the frames themselves are interlaced. I need to deinterlace these frames. So my question is:

Is there a way to use Avivo deinterlacing from DirectShow? How do I use it? Is there some kind of sample or documentation? I have not been able to find anything about it. :-(
