Can anyone benchmark the Rachael truform demo on the R9700?

It would be nice to know the performance hit the 9500/9700 experiences from truform, with the Cat 3.1 drivers. Can anyone try the Rachael demo with fraps or some comparable utility and post the average framerate for each level of tesselation? The same for the 8500 if it is handy, for comparison's sake. This would indicate whether truform performance is being improved, if not, it would show that truform support is indeed very limited on the R300 (or Ati has it very low on the list of priorities).

IIRC Truform on the Radeon 8500/8500 LE was in hardware, whilst on the 9000/9000Pro and R300 chips it is all done in software (i.e. it was removed to save transistors).
