Well this is no real big deal, but I just installed a new 9500pro, and I got the newest catalyst drivers, my friend was over so I downloaded some demos and tried to play them, after installing it said there was missing files darnit. Anyway just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Oh crap I dont think I had time to install directx9 yet that is probably the problem, I am in between classes right now (not at home) so I can't check the message I just remember some file isn't there. I'll install directx9 tonight and check, if it still doesn't work I will tell you the exact error message. Thanks

Joe you were correct, thanks Silly me
p.s. why do their demos turn your sound all the way up (my ears are ringing)

This kind of problem is typical to the miriad of post complaining about ATI drivers in rage3d. And what was the culprit?
