I've seen a Q3 model based off of the concept art from Q4, and the model in those videos looks an awful lot like it, right down to the texture work. They're probably fakes. The Doom 3 video, however, is both real and quite nifty. :)

This QuakeIV model comes from a skinning contest on POLYCOUNT (http://www.polycount.com) - so this is not Quake4 media we're looking at.

Anyone else tired of First person shooters. Havent seen anything new or interesting in a while. Hope they can shake things up with quake4.

yeah. With the exception of Halo in coop mode i didn't really liked a shooter since... dont know... Quake maybe (but i havent even finished it; basicly just looked at the Graphics)

Hmmm... the Q4 vids are definatly fake ;)

There's been some great FPS's released since Quake IMO... Kingpin (one of my favourites), Half-Life (of course) and to a certain extent RTCW...

The only FPS' I like any more are player made mods. TF for quakeworld for instance.

A FPS like NOLF 2 is fun. One like Unreal 2 is just enervating. . .not sure if I'll ever finish that game.
