I can't underclock my video card from it's defualt settings off 325,310.
I want 200, 150 but it just displays corruption.

Overclocking works fine though.

R300 btw.

I can make you a Bios that will fix that

My Radeon 9700 will not accept a AGP speed less then 66hz, which I find interesting. If I set my fsb 1mhz below 166mhz with a 1/5 multiplier it will fail to boot. 1mhz less then 133mhz with a 1/4 multiplier, computer will not boot. Meaning if I go with the 200mhz bus for my PC3200 ram, my 1/6 divider starts at 198mhz which should fit in well with keeping my pci/agp in spec. Plus I've found the Radeon 9700 doesn't like its bus to far out of spec high ~76hz is max for agp.

Yes I've seen that problem posted before..then some others running crazy AGP speeds..maybe try playing with some BIOS settings..or even different card BIOS's.

You're severely limited the bandwidth available for the RAMDAC by underclocking it so much. The BIOS/driver program the hardware based on certain assumptions about available bandwidth. Thus, you'll run into problem if you try to run the chip too far away from the norm.

Overclocking, if it works, is less problematic this way because extra bandwidth can't hurt :)
