So my monitor just died...

Actually the screen just shunk(like half size) and got all pincushioned and it smells now.
Any ideas what went wrong with it?

So what's the best monitor crt I can get under 300 bucks?

Sure they may not die that way (diffrent tech), but they go bad just like anything else :razz:

On the bright side I'm back to using my viewsonic which appears to have perfect 2.2 gamma according to gamma charts :D, and has greater contrast than my busted monitor.
I didn't ask for lcds under 300 because lcds under 300 suck.
