This is hilarious ...I mean I've never seen a company as blunt as this about another company.
I've never had a major issues with ATI drivers but I'm posting this to see Opengl guys reaction..something fishy about that page
3D Nature recommends against all ATI Graphics cards. They currently (December 2002) have unreliable drivers for advanced 3D Graphics use and have shown no intention of solving the issues even though it has been brought to their attention by many organizations.

Oh, it's worse than that.
How about:
Recommended System Specs: 1 GHz clock speed or better, Pentium II or later, 256 Mb Ram or more, 1Gb of disk space or more, OpenGL compliant Video Card, Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP.
1GHz clock or better? Pentium II or later? Are they trying to suggest a P2 could even HOPE to achieve NEAR 1GHz (even with LN2 cooling!)?!

It's changed
it now says:
"3D Nature has been contacted (Jan 2003) by ATI regarding problems our customers have experienced with their Graphics cards. We are working with them to identify and resolve these problems."
guess they never even bothered to file a bug report at Ati and just decided to slam them...
for all we know it might just be their programming skills that sucked and caused the trouble in the first place..

Check out what that site says now:

Call me crazy, but if you're a developer, and your app runs into a problem with a particular graphics card - shouldn't YOU be contacting the card manufacturer to get it fixed??

I have at least one small problem with each and every ATI driver I've had to date.
(Since I've a RadeOn DDR)
At the moment it's a problem with NWN shiny water, which is now broken and worked in previous driver release.
Since both Bioware and ATI worked on the issue of adding it for RadeOn, I'm very surprised that they didn't made it right the first time...

Out of curiosity, why do you capitalize the "O" in Radeon?

hehe lots of people did that when the original Radeon was launched. Perhaps he just continued doing it ever since. :)
