Ok, I got PSO for GC for X-Mas and I'm loving every second of it, I'm at level 10 right now. I did however have it for DC. In single player it does have some newer effects and the such but the pop up is probablyt he worst I've ever seen in a game of this "calibur". Besides taht I love, it is endless fun with alot more extras then the DC version.
Now to my question, is SEGA/Nintendo planning on doing any special deal or anything to get the internet for less? $9 a month is a hell of alot for one game, I am however very close to just saying screw it and getting it since this game is meant to be online and is 10times better online, although the split screen is pretty good, although it barely chugs along with four players. The only other thing for me to do is wait until my birthday, February 2nd, and ask for the service then.
Also does anyone have the service, and is it any good, i. e. I thought the one for DC was pretty good minus the getting kicked off for no reason. I do have broad Band BTW.
$10 USD is an insane amount for PSO. Even EQ isn't that much (it was lowered to $7.99 IIRC) I hope MS swallows the bill (or part of the bill) for the Xbox release, or does a "1 year free" thing like XBL.

Chugs with 4 players? Wow, then there must be something about a fourth player that really screws the game over, cos with three it runs just fine, even against the first boss... :P
I'll be subscribing as soon as I can get my hands on a BBA... and as soon as ComCast gets off their lazy arses and finishes setting up my Cable... :P

What is the highest level for the MAGs? I'm at Lv. 187 and I heard that they can only go to level 200. Also if they can only get to level 200 then can I still feed them to help the synchro and IQ?

Yeah, MAGs and players max at level 200.
And yes, you can still feed the mag for Synchro and IQ once it's at 200, it just won't ever gain new stats.

Good Deal. Thanks. Wouldn't you think that since they raised the max plyr. Lv. to 200 for Episode 2 they would have raised the max MAG level as well?

The max player level was 200 on the Dreamcast.

For Episode 2 it was. In Episode I it only went up to 100 and I believe that MAG went to Lv. 200. So, they raised the player level but not the MAG level for Episode II

There is a Ver. 2 for DC, they changed the name of it to Episode for GCC though. http://dreamcast.ign.com/articles/166/166431p1.html
Episode 1 on gamecube is the two dreamcast games, and episode 2 is a new game.

Well Episode II has all the same levels as Ver. 2 as far as I can tell.

Have you played through e2?
I got through to the end of the Sea Lab and gave up...
One thing that struck me about e2 is the graphics are many times better than e1's... and the draw distance is much better.
And it's VERY, VERY frustrating. Damn 'invisible' Sinows...

Yeah I beat the first level, the one after the training modes and tried the second level around Lv.30 or so and it was impossibly hard. It does look alot better though, with the multi tiered levels and the beach area looked amazing.

Maybe it's hard because you Lvl is not where it should be? Just a thought.

See, the thing that's annoying is that at just over lv.30 you can beat Dark Falz and thus end Episode 1... and at that level the enemies in the Ruins are pretty easy for the most part. So logically you should start e2 right? Apparently no, because e2 is absolute hell at lv.36 for me right now.
It's unbalanced... seems like you have to be through e1 Hard before you can tackle e2 Normal. :\
