hi,

i am interested in the architecture of the programmable video processor. does anyone know if there is any more detailed article than:

http://www.beyond3d.com/previews/nvidia/nv40/index.php?p=13

the video processors seems not to be well explained as the shaders.

thanks.

NVIDIA aren't keen to release details on the architecture of the video processor, especially since it largely relies on the programmable shader hardware for chunks of functionality and NVIDIA would rather not disclose what they offload there. They're even less keen to talk about the fixed function part of the VP.

I doubt there's any other article freely available which breaks that part of the hardware down.
