Anyone seen the v1.03 Tenebrae? Seems like after the Doom3 leak they decided to go for the Halo2 look instead of imitating Doom3. The "Glares" option runs much faster and is much more overbright, though not quite as bad as the Halo 2 trailer. Theres also a ton of fog everywhere, which I guess is for performance issues with too many lights at once.

Nice improvement, especially with the new test maps. The Quake 1 source material is clearly a very bad base to show off such enhanced rendering features, as soon as some more up to date art is used it begins to look pretty interesting! Shame the engine inherits so many other limitations from Q1, you could make a very good looking game with this engine otherwise...

Tenebrae is getting better and better. Looks even sweeter with this version and the ability to control the glossmap is nice. Some annoying bugs though (affects one map I know of... you spawn and you can't move at all and the grenades don't explode at times).

BTW, do you guys know it supports N-patches? Looks awful though, is buggy and runs hella slow.

Looks like they're moving to the Quake3 engine. Sweet :D

Those screenies look GREAT!

I wonder if it'd be possible to port much of their work to the Quake2 engine. I'm sure that'd run a fair bit faster.
