Our company is wanting to start putting video(work at a newspaper) online. I'm trying to put together a machine for this project. I figured we run XP Pro with Adobe Premier. My boss wants me to build this machine using a Canopus Edius NX card(with expansion kit). The problem I've run into is with the motherboard. From what I can gather, this will require two PCI express slots correct? On top of that I need another PCI slot for a SATA controller card, a slot for a NIC card(just incase the onboard ethernet ever fails), and I still need a slot for a video card. Most of our ordering has always been through Newegg.com. Now the problem. All the boards they have(with PCI express) only have 3 expansion slots. Can anyone help me out with some board recommendations?

Why do you need a SATA controller card rather than onboard SATA?

And if it is just for backup, have you considered a USB 2.0 NIC? Like, just for example: http://www.netgear.com/products/details/FA120.php
