Yup the new CPU from AMD is here; the last one based on Palomino core.

IIRC (see Anandtech article) AMD will send the .13 micron XP2200 in a few weeks to OEM. Probably it will be easy to find some online resellers with it before AMD annoucement.

IMHO this .13 micron looks a much better choice, because of cooling reasons. Maybe you should consider the order cancelation.
