Yep, it is BestBuy time again. For those who want to stand in line this Friday morning you may have many treats awaiting for you inside. Not to mention 17" LCD monitors for $399, 14" LCD for what?? $149 etc. etc.

Check out:

Type in your zip and see some of the good thingy's that your girl friend or wife will want you to own. For some of you, your boy friend, but I won't go there, ooppps except for the ladies.

If the link above doesn't work do this:

http://www.bestbuy.com

On left side, click on the Browse Weekly Add, stick in your zip and see if the deal available to you. Below is a image of the add:

Last year I picked up a GF3 Ti200 for $99 which I still used now and a few other great buys at the time.

Are the LCD monitors decent quality or just crap? Also that price for the Ti4200 is a good deal, but honestly not that impressive IMO (of course if you only have a Radeon/GF2 it might be a good buy).

If you missed that card at best buy last Friday, it's going to be $99 after rebate at CompUSA starting Sunday (Nov 8). CompUSA is pretty good about putting sale items online, so it might be possible to order it around 10pm PST on Saturday since the order date will show Nov 8 and it will be eligible for the rebate. Hopefully free shipping will still be available.

Don't you ever, EVER make me go to Best Buy at 6am on the day after Thanksgiving again...

roommate: "They'll probably be gone by the time we get there"
me: "Oh, come on, they've got at least 25 cards, how many computer geeks who need new video cards are going to be up at 6am?"
rommate: "Alright, lets go."

(20 minutes later, the Best Buy parking lot comes into view...)

me: "HOLY SHIT! Um... yeah... "
rommate: "I can't believe you made me come here."

Oh well, at least I got my RAM, and while the 128MB 4200s were gone long before he could get one, my rommate did pick up a 64MB open item for $90. Can't say I was thrilled about waiting in line for 45 minutes to check out though.
