does it comes with the nuclear powerplant you need to power it?
It must come with an external power cord :P

Not really my thing. I find SLI more practical even though its really the same. But the size of the card is really inhibiting to me.

Yeah, I personally dont get this at all. If you want 7800GTX SLI, then buy two 7800GTX's. This is just going to be insanely expensive, and pointless in my book. You already need to have an SLI motherboard for it, and it will most likely be harder to fit then two 7800GTX's due to the legth, and height.

7800GTX uses less power than the 6800 ultra
Needs more Dual R600

And you think case size is the problem?
Just place mobo out from the case and stick the stuff in it. And press Power button :P
This dual-core gpu nonsense is utter crap...whatever happened to the dual core 6800?

You're confusing terms buddy. There are no "dual core" GPUs (and there would be no point in it anyway).

I wonder if you could have two 7800GTX-DUAL in an SLI set-up....
Thanks for the more/better picts Dave!

Roughly meaning..
Nvidia has stated several times in the past that a pair of such dual cards, which would mean 4 GPUs, could theoretically work together on an SLI-board. However, the board design as shown by Asus does not feature the well known SLI-connector. The two white connectors at the top of the PCB are used solely to connect two additional monitors.
