Hyperthreading on slower CPUs?

Dows anyone knows if you can "unlock" HT on slower P4s? i really doubt it, but it would be really cool.

Yeah I saw an article about this on Tom's Hardware:

Basically it says that hyperthreading is disabled in the silicon for older P4's which means that you won't be able to hack your cpu!
