Looking for a new graphics card, sick of my Creative Labs GTS :) , but my primary concern is 2d image quality.

A ti4200 would easily meet my 3d performance needs and can find them between 220->300 CDN$ (depending on memory config / if its VIVO / oem etc)

But who among the 3rd Party NVIDIA manufacturers puts a real emphasis on 2d image quality? I miss the 2d quality of my G400MAX so much and can't afford a Parhelia... The 9000PRO is also in this price range so I would be curious if anyone has experience with it as well.

Or as well if anyone could direct me to some sort of 2d image quality comparison that would be helpful as well.

thanks,

The most comprehensive signal/2d image quality comparison I have seen on the net is this one at tecchannel.de (http://www.tecchannel.de/tecdaten/show.php3?catid=148&pageid=989&sort=wertung&sortor der=desc). It is in German, but the table should be somewhat readable still.
