Now i currently use RivaTuner 2.0 RC11 .... does anyone know if in fact the refresh rate overrider will work with these newer drivers - or does anyone have an alternate solution?

yeah the refresh overriders work - you might have to get latest version of Rivatuner - its at RC 12 now.

However, these WHQL drivers SUCK THE ROOT. They cause the damn IRQ BSOD on my machine. So i went back to the totally stable 30.82's.
Maybe the next release wont suck.

i wouldnt install them
they produced many visual errors in Warcraft III and Diablo 2 on my GF4Ti4200
