hello all,

We have a hard discussion with a friend about the technologies that the original Wolfenstein used.

Did it use some kind of ray tracing , did it use emboss bump mapping,
both ?

(not sure if it's the right forum, if not 'mod' feel free to move my post.)

It used 'ray casting', only one ray is cast for each column, instead of one per pixel. It did not use any form of bumpmapping.
