Hi there,
well, they should appear on different web sites soon, but here's one link:

(novĂ˝)
That's the quality to be expected from the current build.

the increased texture detail seems to only further accentuate the seemingly low-poly models... still screenshots really must be the most unflattering medium for any engine id has developed thus far..
I don't see any difference. All these supposedly "new" pics have no bumpmapping OR specular enabled (StandardGL 1, perhaps). I think these are the same pics that I've seen on an other site. IMHO, Leaked Doom3 Alpha caps, nothing more...

Well, compare this (http://games.tiscali.cz/clanek/screen_detail.asp?id=3463&img=img4.jpg) (E3 shot) to this (http://games.tiscali.cz/clanek/screen_detail.asp?id=3463&img=boge.jpg) (new shot). But yes, specular highlights have been seriously toned down.
Also, have a look at the bloke's arms here (http://games.tiscali.cz/clanek/screen_detail.asp?id=3463&img=boga.jpg). ;)

Bump mapping is still intact in those screens. Otherwise most of the detail would be gone and the lighting would look significantly worse.
Is there any way to turn off bump mapping at all? the r_useStandardGL command juggles specular highlights NOT bump mapping.
Anyway, they need to work on the environment textures. The creatures look fine for the most part.

The shadows look a little better in those screenies than in the E3 build that was leaked. That's promising.
Too rubbery looking and the low polygon count is distracting. I agree, the still images won't do DoomIII justice. Would like to see slimmy dripping creatures vice the dried up looking models in the images.
