Nice pics.
The water is OK, it is just too shiny, to reflective. It looks like a mirror thin water layer...lacks depth ebcause its so shiny.

The water effects do look nice, but overall it is not that realistic looking though (the water effect that is).

But what's up with the shadow of the building in the last pic I wonder? As you can see it doesn't seem to have one...

Nor does the bridge structure on the first one.

Anyway - what C&C game is this from?

Actually none of vehicles seem to have shadows, or the infantry (if you can acutally see them).

The pictures are from the next Command and Conquer game (http://extra.gamespot.co.uk/pc.gamespot/features/btg_ccgenerals/), supposed to be out this year.

Here's some more screens of C&C: Generals.

Looks nice to have day and night cycles, however the lack of shadows on the units still bug me.

One thing I always found nice about the recent C&C games is how much more interesting, believable and interactive the terrain is.

I am very sceptical of Westwood preview screenshots, at least here in Germany they have Photoshopped them severly for every magazine preview. if you don“t believe just take a look at old red alert picutres and firing effects on them, or the first C&C renegade pictures, which looked lots better then the later preview pictures und especially the final game
