For the cash-strapped gamer, I figure its one or the other that'll go in the bag with the starter kit. All 3 is quite a bit to plunk down for us non-salary folk.

As for MotoGP, Ghost Recon, Wacked (...), they're all on sale as we speak (or will be soon), so I figure it'll be one or the other for the must-have XBL launch game.

I wonder which will sell more? Even though UC has the Unreal franchise going for it, I think MechAssault will win out as it's all around 'fresh'. UC could be seen as a X axis-only UT2k3 for dummies.

UT2003 isn't nearly as good as it should have been, and UC can only be worse.

I'd take MechAssault over it any day.

Hah! Neither! Any Xbox Live beta tester can tell you that Moto GP is the game to get. :D

MechAssault. I've already got MotoGP (awesome game, IMHO, especially on Live). I play UT2K3 on my PC, UC looks too similar for my tastes so I'll rent it first.

I'm getting both, but if I had to chose it would be MechAssault.

Mech Assault. I was skeptical of it at first, thinking Microsoft had just dumbed it down for the sake of appeasing casual gamers, but ALL the previews have been extremely positive. I still won't like the lack of customization, but atleast they've captured the spirit of Battletech, if not anything else.

Both. I already have UT2K3 and like it a lot, especially bombing run, so I'm sure UC will be great with the voice chat.
