View Full Version : US PSP Update Ver. 1.51 can be done!

ok go to this website (which is the official apanese PSP website) and download the file, which is 14 MB to your computer. Then hook up the PSP to your Computer via a USB cable and then go to your "GAME" folder and then make a new Folder named "UPDATE" in there from your computer. Copy the "EBOOT.PBP" file in there. now exit the USB connection and go back to ur PSP screen and go to Game Menu and scroll all the way down to "Memory Stick" and you'll see the PSP Update Ver. 1.51 file. Open it and follow the instructions (they are in english too) from there. At the end your PSP will be updated to ver. 1.51 and the language will still be in English. After that you can delete the "EBOOT.PBP" file from your PSP and your PSP will still be updated to ver. 1.51 and the language will still be in English. I just did it!.

Edit: Also make sure that you have your PSP AC Adaptor near by as you will need it during the Setup proccess when it tells you to hook it up to ur PSP.

No, but apparently if we get his homework done, we get to know that PS3 will use Cell. And that Nvidia is doing the GPU. Cause he and Sony are one and the same.

Can the US PSP be updated with the japanese PSP's 1.51 file?

I thought you'd specifically need the US version of the updates, otherwise you are in risk of making the PSP non functional.

I wouldn't trust Nirey.....I've heard that only JAPANESE PSP's should be doing this firmware update....

EDIT: and is he trying to sound like an insider by releasing this information, this has been out for like a week or two.
