Do we really need "general computer news" like CPU and chipset releases on the front page? This is a "hardcore" 3D graphics site, and I don't think there is anything wrong with specializing. There are 200 other sites out there that are more than happy to cut and paste press releases.

I suggest converting some of that news posting time into something else, like beer drinking time.

Well, yes, this is a 3D site, however 3D doesn't live in a vacuum. CPU, Chipsets and chipset memory can all play a large part in the performance of our 3D chipsets (look at it now - we're CPU limited in most cases with current games/3d boards), which is why I feel keeping abreast of changes and the odd review is worthwhile - of course these reviews will have a heavy 3D performance slant.

Are you suggesting that you'd rather post chipset news than drink beer?! Is there some sort of dock worker strike preventing the importation of Guinness to England?

Well, much like the new Hyper Threading CPU's, I can multitask - drinking beer and posting can occur at the same time (in fact, given half of my typo's I'm surprised you'd not already noted it! ;))
