View Full Version : Anyone tried Equinox3d?
It's not available for windows, my linux partition is fried and it's not out/finished for Mac OSX yet... :P
The 3D modeler with the fastest, fully integrated ray-tracer.
Because "rasterization is so 20th century(TM)"

So anyone tried it...thoughts?

Ewwww!
IIRC, is that why you bought that "big red foam finger"?! :P

I'm too lazy to get Linux sorted again so I'll prolly wait for OSX too...

I beg your pardon! I don't think that was the word you were looking for! (Have a look at Dictionary.com link (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=wank))

When the OSX version is out I will give it a try. At the moment the only reason I still use my PC is for 3D studio max, I wouldn't mind trying a simle alternative for a few days.
The modelling in the gallery looks a little simplistic but the image quality looks ok. Personally I'm looking for a faster radiosity/photo mapping render as that is what I am really focusing on right now, it just makes things look so real!
