View Full Version : Joining forces?
In order to recapture a top 100 place maybe it would be wise to join forces with other websites/communities. Elite Bastards and Hexus spring to mind. Currently EB is wasting cycles on SETI@home. Call it the B3HEEB team  .

I used to run SETI all the time, but after they switched to the new client with the totally incomprehensible random user account system it now uses made me give up on it. I simply CAN'T remember 12 scattered letters and numbers in my head... Besides, the client didn't allow CPU throttling last I checked.

If this life is intelligent, and advanced technologically enough to come to earth (and to be able to cure all the diseases and other humans problem, and teach us how to build "RAD" spacecrafts), then they must had already found us, being extremely more advance and all, but, obviously, it seems that if they did, they just don't care.
What if the this form of life isn't more advanced than us, what would be the point in contacting them? Having an intergalactic chitchat with retarded speaking space fruits?
The SETI project has always been a waste of precious ressources, waste orchestrated by geeks and eccentric billionaires who want theirs Star Wars/ Star Trek fantasies become a reality...
