So here I was at the forums when a pop-up appeared. That's not so unusual... except for the fact that the pop-up's URL was http://cvs1.nvidia.com/

??

Do you have the NVIDIA Effects browser installed ? Since that is their CVS server which is used for auto updates of the browser IIRC.

Yeah I do have NVEffectsBrowser installed... didn't know it does this though.... you didn't sound sure K... is it really supposed to do this? Kinda annoying if true.

I know it has an update option in the menu, not sure if it ever goes off on its own to upgrade. Don't see why this would be in a pop-up though.
