For all those who are concerned with the general level of noise in the 3D Technology and Hardware (http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2) forum remember that there is now the new 3D Architecture and Coding (http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=11) forum. The intention of this forum is for higher level discussions of modern 3D architectures, coding and developing for these new architectures and even discussion of potential theoretical areas that 3D hardware may move into in the future.

We intend to keep this as a safe heaven for such discussions as already mentioned and we will be moderating this more strictly. We'd like to encourage developers (software and hardware from the gaming industry 3D / Computer industry) to use this as a useful resource for exchange of ideas and discussion. Its already met with a reasonable level of success as some discussions have already seen personnel from more than 2 of the current 3D PC hardware companies within the same thread!

The 3D Technology and Hardware (http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2) forum still stands as an area for discussing new and upcoming 3D technology and hardware. Those who lament the general level of noise there now also have the 3D Architecture and Coding (http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=11) forum to go to as well.
