Processor on the DRAM chip:

I surely don't have deep understanding about PC tech, but this sounds really exciting. Any guru's have a comment on this?

In my layman´s opinion the problem will be software because of the massive paralelism required.

The edram approach may have better results for some applications because will be easier to program, just some simple DSP apps.
