What happened?

A news item went *poof* and a post I made seems to be gone, and I see no mention of a known issue anywhere. Was the catalyst thread deleted and restarted or something? I rejected that possibility due to the news item also disappearing.

There was a miscommunication between myself and Marco - we don't really post news items about drivers so I removed it. There was already a lengthy discussion (http://www.beyond3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1922) about it in the 3D Tech forum.
