http://www.beyond3d.com/siteimages/b3dsmall.gif (http://www.beyond3d.com/reviews/galaxy/5700le/)Whilst the high end graphics cards announcements and subsequent (slow) releases have kept hardware enthusiasts occupied over the past few months, for most people these high end boards are of little practical interest. The vast majority of graphics board users and consumers will be looking much lower down the price ranges to get for their graphics capabilities. To this end we are today taking a look at Galaxy’s GeForce FX 5700 LE – a board priced competitively to the 5200 Ultra, but whose NV36 core has a few more advanced features.<blockquote>"In keeping with the market sector this board is aimed at, you can see that it is significantly lower clocked than other GeForce FX 5700 variants available. This board weighs in with both core and memory clocks of 250MHz, in comparison to clocks of 425MHz core and 350MHz RAM for a standard 5700, and 475MHz core and 450MHz memory for the 5700 Ultra."</blockquote>Read the full review here (http://www.beyond3d.com/reviews/galaxy/5700le/).

Hey Dave/Andy, a minor correction in the introduction is needed. Not really important, though shouldnt it read NV34(=fx5200 core, nv31=fx5600).

"NVIDIA were the first to tread this path with the launch of NV31, aka GeForce FX 5200 and 5200 Ultra."

Yes, you're right aZZa, my mistake.

By the way Dave, it looks like the overclocking page has got messed up. The text and UT2004 results don't match.

but to name this board a 5700 is again bad marketting. What's wrong with 5300 or 5400 as a name?

Great review!
This card has been a big seller lately at Best Buy(the BFG version)...I was wondering how it performed.
